Well, it finally happened. Steven and I got married last Saturday, 28 March.  We are both in South Africa (it's easiest to get married in the same hemisphere  ) and enjoying being newlyweds.  We'll post pictures at some point soon. And if details are being asked, we'll be happy to divulge some.

Thanks muchly, Alia!  It was a small wedding, we didn't even get married in a church. We just got married in the house of the marriage officer.

Oh my freaking goodness! That is so awesome. Congrats to you both! I second that request for pictures. Even if it was just at your house. And I definitely think we need details. Woohoo! Our first Parley wedding! Congrats again!

Thanks muchly to everyone! And pictures you want, pictures you will get. Just don't run away screaming from Bridezilla's appearance on pictures. Ze bride. Ze groom. Both together. "You may now kiss the bride." At a small teagarden after the ceremony. Some pics with Table Mountain in the background... More pics... And more... More... Last one! I hope that all looks good. In case anyone wonders about the colour of the dress, it was just because it was within our pricerange. White ones were very 'spensive.  But we both thinks it looks better than white. It's great to see all of you here and posting. And I'm glad that your internet is good again, Becca! If it is, but it looks so.

Those pictures are great! The two of you look so good together. And Table Mountain is gorgeous! Did you color your hair, Su? It seems like the last picture I saw of you (which was ages ago, admittedly) it was lighter. I really like the color on you in any case. The dress looks nice too. |
