Happy Birthday to Parley, which opened to the general public on this day, three years ago! A lot has changed since then, but a lot has also stayed the same. For myself, I'm very thankful to DutchS, who invited me to join, because I've made many wonderful friends here on Parley, and have been privileged to be able to participate in many discussions around common interests with such a wonderful group of thoughtful people.  And I look forward to continuing to interact with everyone and making new friends in the years to come!

 Three cheers for three years of Parley! Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah! Now that I've gotten that out of my system...  I too am so glad to have joined Parley, not quite when it first opened, but a few days later. I have met some amazing people here and had a chance to talk about things I love and learn about new things. Many, many thanks to DutchS for starting this all in the first place, thanks to those who have kept it running since then, and thanks to all of you for participating! It wouldn't be a board without its members. Group hug for everyone!

Yay!! Three years!! I didn't join until the following October, but I still feel like I've been here forever. I really have met some wonderful people here. Some have gone, some are still here, but all of them are special. Where else can I find so many people who understand (or will at least humor) my obsession with Jack Sparrow?  I would also like to thank DutchS for starting all of this. I don't think she realizes sometimes how great this place is and all it has meant to so many people. Not everyone can claim to have started something that has touched so many lives and hearts. I think it really is something to be proud of. Also, I want to thank all the others who have kept this site up and running over the last three years. I know it can't be easy. All of you have put a lot into this place, and you do a great job. *passes bottles of rum to everyone* |

i can't believe I joined this board 4 days after its creation. that's pretty ridiculous to say i've been along on this ride. This board had a major loud point, i miss when it was so busy

Has it been THREE YEARS? Good gracious. But WHAT a three years it has been. I have no idea what would my life would be like had I not joined Parley and met some amazing friends. Things have a-changed through the time, yes, people have come and gone and I'm all grown up now but I hope to keep hanging around here to bug you all, mwaha. |

Ack, we go on a break from Parley for a while and the anniversary rolls around in our absence!  Happy birthday, Parley! May there be many more for this wonderful and special site.
