Okay, some people have had issues with the spoilers tags, and I've coded in a new fix for it. From now on, if you have a spoiler that you want made invisible, please use this code: Code (remove the spaces between the brackets and the interior word in order to work): [ spoiler ] put spoiler text here [/spoiler ] * Spoiler: click to toggle *Now there are some issues with this code, PG figured out that it will only work once in a single post, so while I try to find a way to work around this, I recommend fitting all spoiler text together under that, or if you need to hide text in multiple areas, you can also use the code below (which also works as spoiler text).
*See? This is how it will look.* Also, the code will not show up in the preview--that is to say, that if you preview your post before you post, the tag will be visible, and the text will be seen. That should correct once it's posted. |

Haha...as you can see there are some issues with the spoiler code at the moment...I'll be checking up on that to see what is going on. It was working earlier, so I make look at replacing the spoiler tags with another version. |

Another addition! PG has figured out the issue, and I'll see what I can do to fix it/work around it. Spoiler tags will only work once during a post. Which is why the posts above doesn't seem to work so well. I don't want to say that you should only try to use it once per post, that's why I'm going through to find a better fix, but for now...I'd recommend keeping all the spoilers together so that the code works, and you aren't forced to resort to the color coded tags. Thanks, PG! |

You are quite welcome! Wow, I never know how these things work. It's nice to feel computer-smart for once.
For everyone's information, as Alia mentioned earlier, it would be helpful if you could go back and edit your own posts containing spoilers. However, we are also going to try to go through and edit all of them we can find. For example, this morning I edited the posts containing spoilers in Lubber's Hole and its subforums and the first page of the Movies forum. If you come across a spoiler that needs to be fixed, however, please PM me or one of the other modmins and we will fix it for you. Please include a link to the post needing a spoiler fix. Thanks for your help, guys! |
