Oh, what's this I have in my hands? My potc dvd, delivered 2 days early? Yes, I think that would be it...

AHAHAHAHAHAHA :yay: Much excitement!

I haven't watched it all yet, but what I've seen so far is pretty good! There's 2 deleted scenes, which I didn't realise but is always a bonus, plus loads of Easter Eggs!!

Gotta watch some more now... much better than french homework!!

Any other of the English got theirs? I pr-ordered from Play.com, so that's why it's early...

Hmmm? I thought it wasn't going to be released until Dec. 4 in the U.S. So this was the delivery date in Great Britain? Lucky you!

Yeah the UK release isn't until tomorrow (the 19th), but some online places like Play.com release it early.

My best friend got hers yesterday....I don't hate her at all *twitch*

I'm kinda annoyed: NO COMMENTARY WTF?!

I don't get why an American-produced movie is coming out here way after the UK gets theirs... why stagger the release at all, why doesn't everyone get it at once? Like with Transformers, we got that a few weeks ago, I don't think the UK gets it for a few more weeks. Why do they do that!?!?!

Go writer's strike, teach them a darn good lesson! (Even though your argument concerns you getting more money... still, way to tick off Hollywood!)

I'm not sure how long the adverts have been on (in the UK) but have you seen the PotC AWE dvd game that comes with the DVD release on the 19th November? Here it is available from Amazon.com I like this description: Do you know your Captain Jack Sparrow from you Elizabeth Swan? Then prepare to set sail with this innovative interactive DVD game that tests your knowledge of all things PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN-related through 540 questions!

I think there's an advert for that (and the High School Musical one) at the beginning of the DVD, I'd have to go check but it looks the same.

Oh really? Well unfortunately, I still don't have the dvd yet. I'm waiting for a good offer to come on before I get it. Or perhaps someone may get if for me for Christmas. I just saw an advert for AWE special offer at Woolworths (UK) get the dvd for £14.97 (Same price as Amazon.com except you get free artcards from Amazon) and get the PS2 game for under £10! Offer ends on the 25th day of November.

They had the DVD game when I bought it, it was £8.something in Asda, the film, not the game, for some reason they didn't have that priced so I didn't even look at it, but I'm not too sure about DVD games anyway, I had the 24 one bought for me for my birthday and supposedly it's not so good, I haven't even tried it yet, maybe one day.

Did this even have a point? oh yeah, I was just wondering what sorts of questions they'd be, chances are it'll be easy ones.

Edit: Did anyone else get a layer pause at the start of the chapter where Sao has Lizzy held in the ship? just after the swooping shot on the ship it froze, I rewinded and it played fine, and every other time I do now, but it still freezes slightly.

Tis £14.84 in ASDA stores and you don't get anything with it but it is the cheapest so far with it being £8.94 if purchased from ASDA online with free P&P. Also in Blockbusters (UK) it is £8.99 if you trade in any 3 movies or 3 games.

My Father just bought me the DVD today so I should be watching it tonight, Huzzah! Nah I'm not into DVD Games either although I did enjoy the first Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone game haha.

There was a phone-in competition for the Paul O'grady Show with: What is the name of Captain Jack Sparrow's ship?

A: The Pink Pearl
B: The Black Pearl
C: The White Pearl

Hmm....

No lie! There was also no deleted scene about how Will may or may not be bound to the Dutchman for only 10 years and not eternity, even though we know said deleted scene exists. Do you know what this means? Sometime in the next few years, a super-snazzy trilogy collectors pack will come out with all the extras we've been missing: commentaries, deleted scenes (especially from DMC!), and we'll have to squander away more money on them. And yet I know I'll do it. So really, I'm rolling my eyes at myself.

Anyway, other than what's lacking, I've enjoyed what I've seen on the DVD so far. Also, I got it from Best Buy and got a bonus disk with about 45 minutes of extras. I remember people saying the one that came with DMC was kind of lame, but I was kind of excited about some of the features on there. Okay, maybe I'm the only one who cares about the featurette about the Salt Flats, but that's because they're in Utah and I could go there if I felt like driving for 5 hours. :D There was also one about filming the underwater parts of the "Up is Down" scene. That was interesting to watch. I haven't watched anymore of those yet, though, so I'll let you know if the others are any good.
