New and improved trailer, less stock footage here.

And a scene from the pilot

Dear god why do we have to wait so long for this?!

And seeing as there's been a lot of Firefly/Serenity mentions in this thread (and the actual thread for it's in the Locker): I finally got around to watching Firefly/Serenity (took me long enough I know), love it and want the executives that messed up to die horrible deaths (possibly involving sharp objects).

Yeah, I saw those a couple of days ago, forgot to post them here. The scene is sorta... lackluster, but whatever. The new trailer OWNS though!!!!

As for that sentiment -

Yeah the scene's not the best, they could have chosen something stronger but I guess this one is meant to be more....getting people to tune in so they'll find out how it fits into the series....maybe  It's late here and I may not be making much sense.

 Only downside of the new-found Firefly/Serenity love is I end up cursing the fact that I'm in the UK and can't get the Collector's Edition of Serenity *goes back to staring at the Amazon page*

I thought you guys had most of the extras on there already anyway?

Well, there seems to be some bad news about Dollhouse already: its been given what some call "The time-slot of death", Friday at 9, the same time that Firefly went to before it was killed. Also, this hurts Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles as well, because its being moved to 8 on Friday before it. Ouch. Well.. at least for a while next year, I'll have three shows I like on Friday nights. (Yes, I watch The Clone Wars, don't judge!)

Okay I really just want the Joss and Cast commentary, we've got the one with Joss by himself and as great as he is at commentaries I would love to hear what the cast say (I'm a bit of a commentary addict).

They also threw out the original pilot and started over, and shut down for a few weeks to rework several episodes. I have no doubt the show itself will be good but everything seems to be going wrong at the moment and it looks like it may not last long, which is depressing.

This is true, I hadn't thought to mention that, it being to me old news; didn't really think about the fact that the last post here was from months ago .

This was intersting though:

FOX Scheduler Interview

Mr. Beckman doesn’t pretend that “Dollhouse” and “Terminator” have an easy path ahead of them. But, particularly in the case of “Dollhouse,” Mr. Beckman thinks the less competitive Friday night will give the show a better chance to build an audience than a more high-profile night.

“If we put it on Monday and it didn’t do well, we might have to yank it,” he said. But because Fox’s winter lineup should be solid on Saturday through Thursday nights, “We can afford to let these shows run their course. We can give them 12 or 13 weeks to find an audience.”

Sounds like it might work out for the best after all.

Here's the whole article. (Yay, Bones!)

Dollhouse scene that is actually quite awesome!

Nice to see something that is downright promising finally, eh? Do love that last line a lot:

"Whose dream?"

"...who's next?"

Just watched a vid with the theme and some scenes and it looks interesing... though I refuse to get attached to a Joss show until I know it's sticking around and this one is already on shaky grounds!!
