Those were great! I love Geoffrey's best! And all of the hat stuff is hilarious. Remember the commentary of P1 with Gore and Johnny saying that it was really a movie about hats. Apparently the whole trilogy was.

Hehe, I remember that Mallory-san; it was something along the lines of PotC = Dirt, Hats and Wigs. Domo arigatou Rogue-san for posting that link, I'm uber happy after watching that, even my Father had a gander at it XD We love the telescope bit!

THAT'S POWERFUL!

:rotfl: Those are brilliant!

"Beckett Cutler! or as he's sometimes known Cutler Beckett!"

That bit where Johnny's saying something about French Doors...is it my faulty memory or is that not in the actual film? I honestly don't remember any scene like that (although it's been several months since I last saw it) could it be a deleted scene?

I don't think that scene was in the movie. Wasn't it the same scene where Gibbs was getting caught up in the curtain? That definitely wasn't in the finished film. And I don't believe there was ever any scene with Jack and Hector in the cabin--we only ever saw them on deck.

Anyway, I thought the French door bit was hilarious. It would be just like Jack to make light of the fact that his ship is still a mess after the kraken attack in DMC (remember how his cabin was pretty well trashed). I can just see him pretending it was really a brilliant thing because he always wanted the fresh air, etc. etc. All according to plan! :P

It's in the Junior Novelization, though. That was one of my favorite parts that didn't make into the movie. Here it is:

Quote:

Barbossa kicked a pile of glass shards.  "I see you neglected to care for my ship," he said.

"What, this?"  Jack said.  "Just ventilating.  Clear out the stench of the previous owner, you know.  Thinking of putting in French doors, actually.  Feel the cross breeze?"  He waved his hand in the air blithely, as if feeling the wind sail through.

Gibbs stuck his head through the space where the door had once been.

"Heading, Captain?" he asked.

At the word "Captain," both Barbossa and Jack spun around.

"Two degrees starboard--" Jack began.

"I'm captain of the starboard side!  Barbossa objected.  "Two degrees starboard.  The captain will now take the helm."  He bolted for the door, Jack close behind.

"Aye, sirs," Gibbs said.  He stood aside as Jack and Barbossa raced down the hall, up the stairs, and along either side of the ship to the wheel, where a nervous Cotton was presiding over the steering.  Cotton glanced from one former captain to the other.  Jack adjusted the wheel minutely.  Barbossa adjusted it back.  They eyed one another, both determined to prevail.

Just a little more insight into that captain bickering we didn't see. (Where's the scene with them fighting over the wheel? That was an awesome picture! Maybe this scene would lead into that.)

Yeah, the hats were great. I also like when Johnny told Tom Hollander, "You can't curse in a Disney movie." Oh, and when Keira fell off the railing of the FD and ran into Jack Davenport and they both cracked up. And when Johnny choked on whatever was in that cup and couldn't talk. That was hilarious! :rotfl:

Aiie it's really in the junior novelization? I'm going to have to read that. I hope it would be on the deleted scenes on the dvd, but I read the comments left on the youtube link and here's the quotation:

lordcutlery (2 days ago) The deleted scenes are around 2:24:11 and will only be on the Blu Ray and 2Disc version! FYI

 Those were so funny.

And was he really saying "French doors"? I was thinking he was saying "Fridge doors" which would automatically make it a blooper, not fitting with the time period, guess I just need to work on my understanding of what he means at times. :wild1:

:rotfl: Okay now I seriously hope that's going to be on the deleted scenes (and that there will actually be deleted scenes).
