... but when a movie called Freddy Vs. Jason comes out, you sshould nominate it for best fight. Not Queen Latifah and some loser for a Steve Martin comedy...

 Mostly their awards suck, because they either nominate stupid non-deserving things, or award stupid non-deserving things. How were DMC and Casino Royale not nominated for best fight? V for Vendetta, Superman Returns, not even there. They're all messed up. Borat is the funniest thing I've ever seen though, you have to give it credit, though you don't need to credit the lame jokes they tried to make there about it. MTV is obsessed with terrible horror movies and terrible comedies, it'll never change. Occassionally you get something like Pirates or The Departed or Spider-Man in there, but in general, the dumbest, most idiotic thing there wins. Hence Blades of Glory and Saw being there.

The Departed, Little Miss Sunshine, and Dreamgirls are the only movies on that whole list that should eb nominated in anything more than a effects award. Everything esle is either a CGI mind-rape or a will ferell comedy. There's a really big difference between good movie and popular movie, and the MTV Generation is apparently too high to care. Which is sad, because people seeing these horrible movies with the "Best Actor" or "Best Movie" awards are going to be mislead and think that they're good.

Hey, both Johnny Depp and Dead Man's Chest, while not being the best actor or film of last year, were still up there. I can't even pin down what you like anymore, knocking the MTV generation but defending Saw, one of their biggest fads for their hordes of mindless drones. So I can't really make a nice broad generalization, but as I said, most movies they pick suck. Some don't.
