I just realised that we didn't have one of these threads in the Television subforum. We need a complete set. I do not often watch television in the normal sense of the term but I often watch series I either own on DVD or have on the computer. Over the past couple of days I've been watching Brideshead Revisited, a wonderful series with superb acting and such a beautiful and cheerful start in contrast to its bleak, unhappy end. I have actually been to Castle Howard which was the house they used as Brideshead and having watched the series I would dearly love to see it again. I really must get around to reading the book. Currently I'm rewatching the Sherlock Holmes series with Jeremy Brett because I love it. Will |

Well, I just finished watching this week's "Smallville," but it was a repeat, so it wasn't much fun. I'm seriously beginning to think I'm the only "Smallville" fan here on Parley, though.
And now I'm watching "The Addams Family Volume 2" on DVD. It's the old 1960's series, I grew up watching it and I still love it. |

Well when I am not watching wrestling, I am usually watching Lifetime. I love that channel alot. I am very excited though that The Soprano's is coming back soon.... YAY!!! I have been a huge fan of the Soprano's from the first season and can't wait to see how it all ends... I watch a lot of Nickalodeon too but that is cuz the kids have it on 24/7, though I do admit I am kind of a Spongebob Fan ha ha.... |

I haven't watched proper television in ages, though I'm going to try to find out if episodes of Full Metal Alchemist air on any channels. Must catch up with things as best I can. If there's nothing for episodes on TV, it's back to downloading them. |

I watched Monk last night with my mom. Well, she watched it, I was in the room chatting on my compy.
Anyway, I've already seen the episodes they are showing here now. Huzzah for my time in America! While South Africans go
at Monk's amnesia, I go
because I know the ending. (I get a kick out of those kinds of things )I don't watch a lot of television anymore, my attention is completely averted. The only things I do "watch" on occasion would be a SA soapie called 7de Laan and I also watch Dr. Phil on occasion. Oh, and the Monday night "comedies", although I don't find them all that funny. I can't even remember the names...oh! One is Joey. But I can't remember the names of the other two. They are pointless anyway, so it's all good. And CSI also shows Monday nights, but I hardly follow it. Like I said, my attention is diverted. |

Well, if you asked me this a year ago I would have specific shows for each day of the week to watch, many of which I would record and watch later. Now, I'm down to practically nothing. The only thing I've really been watching are my DVDs of Xena: Warrior Princess. I watched the episode "Motherhood" last night. Such a good episode, in my opinion, although a lot of Xenites don't like it because Xena throws her chakram at Gabrielle and splits Gabby's head open, but, come on, Gabby was stabbing Xena's daughter It's just a mother's instinct to react when you see that. |

I actually watched the television proper for the first time in ages the other day. I ended up watching a double bill of Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps (I hate myself for actually finding it funny sometimes), a double bill of American Dad and a documentary on a teenage transsexual (!?). Since then I've been watching the American Dad season 1 boxset again. The season 2 boxset doesn't come out until 25th May so hopefully series 1 will keep me entertained until then. Will |

On TV, the last thing that I fully watched was Bondi Rescue. It was season finale *sniff* Now I'll have to go to the beach to find some spunky lifeguards! On TV DVD I'm watching Farscape. When it was on TV I only watched a few eps every now and then but the new slim sets where on sale for $33 instead on $99 so I bought all four! I'm nearing the end of season 2 and i LOVE this show! |

I love all of those shows. I think I've literally seen every single episode of both "Seinfeld" and "Everybody Loves Raymond." And a buddy of mine adored "Friends," so I used to watch that with him a lot. I luvs TBS.

Oh Rogue...Bondi is over? Well it is coming into winter...I guess life on the beach slows down a bit this time of year. The last thing I watched, start to finish, was House last night, but I have an episode of Heroes waiting on the hard drive, so I'll be watching that tonight. My brother's girlfriend is over tonight, and she adores Home and Away. I can't stand the show, but we'll probably be watching it tonight as well... Big Brother starts again on Sunday- God help us.

Lately, well I've never really watched much TV in the last few years, apart from music TV sometimes, and cartoons, I can't watch 24 anymore because of Sky hogging the channels, and I'm not really watching Prison Break now, I think I saw some of it the other day while having food, but I can't remember it, I was too tired, and what I did see didn't make so much sense with missing so much, but I'd rather spend time with someone than watching TV anyway, I think the only show I have been watching has been Doctor Who, as I have to watch it with my niece since it scares her a lot of the time so I have to make sure she's ok with it, plus she likes my nerdy input on things, although questions about the last episode couldn't be answered as I'd be ruining a coming twist, I think that's been it really, I watched a Robot Chicken one day, and a Teen Aqua Hunger Force, since I found them on the On Demand section in the TV settings, saved having to wait until 1am for them, just picking them out to watch at my own time before going to bed was much easier.

The only programmes I watch every week like a ritual are Dr Who, EastEnders and Desparate Housewives. I think Dr Who is amazing, David Tennant is excelant and i realy like the story lines. last weeks wasnt the best episode in the world though. EastEnders is getting a bit boring, some of the story lines i realy like, where others i'm not too keen on. Desparate Housewives i have to watch each week. I even flipped over to E4 last night to watch next week's episode. The ending was realy unexpected. Can't wait for the week after next! |

I'm rewatching the entirety of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. After Alia reminded me how great it was (over in the sci-fi thread) I decided that my life would be incomplete without watching the whole damn thing again. The Cardassians are awesome. 'Gul' Williams |
