Are there any other MCR fans around here? I adore them. I got hooked when I first saw the "Helena" video. Their videos are so artistic, they're beautiful to watch. Has anyone been to one of their shows? Especially a recent one? How was it? What's the playlist for their more recent shows? I'm going to see them in a couple of weeks, and I'm really excited. |

I also Like MCR. I agree that the video's are very artistic. It really isn't my favorite style of music but I do think they're awesome. You are very lucky to be going to see them... |

Well, when I found out they were coming back to my area, I felt I owed it to myself to go. I'd had tickets for myself and a friend back in December, but my "pal" welched out on me at the last minute and I missed the show!
 She never paid me back for the ticket I had to eat, either. :angry: So I took the birthday money I had gotten from my grandmother and bought myself ONE ticket. I'll go alone this time, there's no way I'm counting on my friend to go with me. (She has a bad habit of welching.) As for their videos, was anyone else disappointed with "Famous Last Words?" It just didn't have the same appeal as the others. They were just jumping around in the dirt surrounded by flames. It's a shame, too, because I love that song. |

*fangirl squeal* AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! I love MCR omgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomg! sorry. i really got into them and i really LOVE them...i am waiting for them to show up in my town ....i really have no patience for this kind of thing.

Me, me, me!  Awwft I do love MCR, I think it was I'm Not OK that caught my attention. And then they brought out The Black Parade and I got hooked big time! I saw them a few weeks back  it was breathtaking.**spoiler alert **Gerard is wheeled on lying on a hospital bed in full gown and everything, then when the song starts - "The End" - he leaps up, rips off the gown and then the curtain is pulled back to reveal the rest of the band in full Black Parade costume. Whoo! They perform their whole latest album in the same order as on the CD, then during the hidden track "Blood" the lights are all dimmed and MCR change into casual clothes, come out a play about 7 songs from their old albums :yay:. The final song is "Helena" which is really amazing...one of the best nights of my life! You'll have a fabulous time, Stormy Lass!  *Joins in Mads fangirly screams!* |

OMGYAYZ!!! I was hoping they'd sing "Helena!" That's my favorite, I'm dying to hear it live. I just know I'm gonna cry when they sing "Cancer," though, I always do when I listen to it. Go G! Go Ray! Go Frank! Go Bob! Go Mikey! Rock on, my brothers. Rock on. *turns Ghetto Emo Mode and excessive smilies off* I'm so excited! Should I wear one of my MCR t-shirts, or just go with classic black? |

! Yeah Helena is the best! Aww yeah Cancer was sad  great, but sad.And at the end of Mama, you know there's a woman crying in the song? Gerard does that crying himself at the end it's hilarious, and sweet!Erm I wore one of my MCR tee's so I'd say go with that! You must be so excited Where abouts do you live, if you don't mind me asking? |

Did you realize that's actually Liza Minnelli who does the female vocal on the recording? How awesome! I live in Virginia. I'm really looking forward to seeing which song they'll do next for a video. I'm hoping it will be "Cancer" or "Teenagers" (probably my favorite on the album), but who knows? Are there any rumors? |

Hmm they need to come back to England soon...I'll be right there lol Oooh, that is awesome! Yeah they're meant to be doing Teenagers for their next single they'll do well with that...even if they do have to replace "s***" with "freak"

Ack, censoring, I hate it. Which is why I have the dirtiest mouth of everyone that I know (except my mom
 )! Let them say the "S" word! It's okay, really! (It happenes to be Johnny Depp's favorite curse word.
)So tomorrow's the night, I'm excited... Life is good. I'm anxious to see how a "Teenagers" video will come out, though. I hope it's more interesting that "Famous Last Words" was, because that was a big disappointment after all the others. |

Okay, double post, I know, but this is a totally different tangent on MCR: I'm here to gloat and squee... HOLY MONKEY!!!!! Just got back from the show, and it ROCKED!!!! I can die happy now! It was fabulous!!! I was no more than 50-60 yards away from the stage!!!! It was amazing! And God bless them, they dedicated the whole set to the students, friends and families of Virginia Tech (because it's a local school), and 1/4 of the ticket price went to charity (I think the American Cancer Society, but I'm not sure). There are not enough "Yay!" smilies in the world to express how I feel right now. |

Thank you, I have no idea where I found the Av, but the banner is one they offer on the offical website. I'm adoring your av, too, it's awesome. Anything that has lyrics on it gets me, I love them. I'm a little embarrassed to admit this, but I had never heard the hidden track "Blood" on TBP. I knew it was there, and sat there waiting for it to start at first, but when it didn't after a minute or so, I gave up. I guess I figured something was wrong with mine. But when I heard it at the show, I immediately knew it was the hidden track - I loved it! It's hilarious and creepy all at the same time, it's great. Do any of you have the DVD/CD pack "Life On The Murder Scene?" |

Hehe yeah Blood is a great track. The first time I listened to the album, after Famous Last Words I thought it had finished and I got a shock when it came on after a minute of silence! I love it though. I don't have Life on the Murder Scene but I would if I could...it's really hard to get over here in the UK, I've been in several shops but they don't sell it <_< I really hope they do a DVD of the Black Parade Tour, that would be awesome! |

I dont normally like bands like this, but for some reason, I am somewhat of an MCR fan. Maybe you'd say I'm not really one because the only songs I like are BP and Famous Last Words. But actually those are the only ones i have heard. Wait, I've heard Teenagers. I actually really like that song, it just swears a little too much. And I also have to say something about their lead singer. When I first saw him in his whole skeleton thing he scared the heck out me. But he's actually a pretty good singer so now I do actually like him. |
