Has anyone read Twilight&New Moon by Stephenie Meyer?
I just finished Twilight yesterday, and New Moon for the gazillionth time today... so, I started wondering.

It's a vampire romance novel for people who don't like vampire romance novels. :o

These books are probably my favorite, mostly because of Edward *sigh*....and Alice. Jacob Black is pretty awesome also. As for Bella, well, I pretty much AM Bella... very accident prone....
I would write a whole page on Edward if it wasn't for the fact that no words do him justice. :D

Can't wait for Eclipse, would LOVE to read Midnight Sun, and Breaking Dawn is to far away. How am I going to last until Fall?... and the the next Fall? And the next? AND WHAT IF STEPHENIE CAN'T PUBLISH MIDNIGHT SUN! (*broken sob* Edwwaaarrrrddd.)

I also hope that they make a movie, but I hope it doesn't suck and I will murder them if they mess up Edward. I don't think any actor's face is stunning enough for him...or any of the Cullens, really.

Well, I have nothing else to say to my self as of now. :D

Oh. My. God. I'm pretty much in love with Edward. And as incredibly awesome as it would be to make movies out of this series, you're right...no actor can possibly do Edward justice.

I'm not sure what it is, but I adore this series. I can't believe we have to wait until next fall.

I wish I were Bella. *sob* And I wish Edward were real. That would be true beauty right there...Edward in the flesh. Ok that ended up being a really bad pun.

Good point is...Edward > life.

Sad point is...I'm in love with a character in a book. *dies*

OMG, Remus I love you!!!

I know, its so sad... the only guy I ever really loved is trapped in a spine on my bookshelf. <_< We can cry together, eh.

For movie-Edward, I think they could like... computer-edit his face... but not so it looks all cartoony, or overdone... but they wouldn't because of the money... <_< Stupid people, why are the actors so ugly? xD

I thought the pun was funny! Cheesy, yes but still funny.

Yay! There's three of us now!

Because I'm so cheap (but not easy  heh) I keep borrowing it from a friend...so now that I'm on break until January, I've borrowed it again and am enjoying it again!

Ooh, I can make my love of Edward fit something my cousin randomly said this summer...

I want to eat him. Not literally...figuratively.

Ok now I'm just getting off-topic...so I'm done until some other aspect of Edward is brought up. :)

Glad you liked the pun, Riot! heh

EDWARD!!!!!

Oh, he's....indescribable. I adore Edward, and how he's so protective of Bella, and so in love with her and so self-loathing...He's an amazing character.

Anything with vampires and romance is good for me. But New Moon hasn't been released in Australia yet. I don't wanna wait! I want it now!!!!!

Aww, poor Elven! Order it off US Amazon, or ebay...though that can get expensive, nevermind...

Ok, so as I'm rereading this I keep finding quotes that I love, so I'm gonna share one real quick: *ahem*

"I hear voices in my mind and you're worried that you're the freak," he laughed.

Yeah, that was a bit lame...but I almost laughed out loud when I read it a few minutes ago...

 Aw, Elven!!!
I would die if I couldn't read it.... Fly to uhm, England and buy it there, or something. o.O

Lol, that quote is funny. After a while it loses its funniness though.

I love the bit where Edward is demonstrating what a threat he is to her. You know, in the meadow? I can't remember the exact wording but he is saying how she couldnt outrun him, or fight him off.... I think its awesome! And then how he comes back and hes all " I Swear I wont hurt you."

Yeah...and then between the meadow and the ride home, how he's going on about being the perfect predator, and she just keeps getting more and more sucked in and he keeps getting upset with her reactions and his...ahh, good times.

*pouts* I wants me an Edward. Vampire and all.

I agree, good good times!
I also love how he tries to keep things from her, but she picks up on it. It's like hes trying t be sneaky but he can't. And I LOVE the fact that he can compose things on the piano. It kinda adds more,um... depth? Its sweet how he made a song for her!

I wish he was real. And I knew him. <_<

*does dance of joy*

My parents ordered it of Amazon for Christmas!!!!

Yay!

Now I just have to wait for it to arrive.....

Anyways...

One of my favourite parts in the book would have to be when they gets back from the meadow and he stays with Bella overnight, hiding from her father...that and when Bella meets the rest of the family.

Have I mentioned that I also love Carlisle and Esme? They're so nice to Bella. The fact that they put their own family in danger to save her really made me like them.

*celebrates with Elven* I think this calls for some rum!
*passes some around*

I agree totally! Carlisle and Esme are like the ideal in-laws: they approve of their son's choice, treat her like their own daughter, and, above all, respect her. What women doesn't want that in their in-laws? Especially in her mother-in-law -- that'd be just perfect.

Plus Carlisle's good looking. That wouldn't hurt anything. :D

Carlisle comes just after Edward for me. Jasper and Emmet just don't do it for me.

*drinks rum* :wild1:

Why thank you Remus.
