I've just been reading a book on Keith Richards called Satisfaction by Christopher Sandford. It's not particularly well written but the subject himself is interesting enough to forgive any issues with the author (even though it appears shamelessly biased at times). Will |

I thought we already had a thread like this, but clearly I'm just very confused. Not uncommon, that... Anyway... I'm reading "Hornblower and the Atropos", which is the last Hornblower book I haven't read yet (except for the unfinished one, but I'm not that obsessed). I'm just such a slow reader... I never seem to find time to read. Which is just another way of saying I spend way too much time on other things I like. I really only read when I have nothing else I can do. I like reading OK, I just... lack concentration sometimes, I guess. |

There have been similar threads but they concerned favourite books or recommendations. This is more a place to say: 'I have been reading this, it's good/bad, I like/don't like this about it' etc. This way the books that will never be favourites but are entertaining enough that they deserve to be read can be reviewed and thrown into the forum. I am in the process of reading... the ingredients of a jar of peanuts.... Did you know they have peanuts in them? Really, though, I am in the process of reading From Russia With Love, from the great Ian Fleming. |

Long ago when I was at college studying performing arts (before I was kicked out) our main college production was Oedipus Rex. A little precocious for what's barely above a high school production. Will |

I just finished reading The End. It ticked me off, too. I'm also going back to what I was reading before, the Chronicles of Prydain- the third one actually. |
