- You may call me Anne or Nan for short. - I have used a lot of names in the past and I think I know a few here from past expiriences, but for now I think I will stay with Anne for this forum. Just to simplify things. - I am 21. - My whereabouts are undisclosed. (cheeky grin) - I am a full time student as of now, though I do work at a vet clinic when I have vacations. - Hobbies: Reading, writing, singing, acting, rping, rinse repeat. - I had heard about Parley for the first time about a year ago and decided it would be very interesting to join now. - Barbossa, followed by Jack, then Gibbs, and Davy Jones, and then...on and on. |

Welcome back, Grace! Always nice to see a familiar face. We're glad you've rejoined us. (And I can see you now adhere to one of my new-ish favorite fandoms... Edward is awesome.) And belatedly, welcome Anne! I must say, I've been glad to see your name all over the board and the Cbox. Usually we get new members who post once or twice never to be seen again. your name: Lisa (you may refer to me as Mistress if you wish) other usernames under which people may know you: Lady of Shadow (LOTR Fanatics Plaza), dark_angel (Middle-earth Center), Precious Pearl (KTTC and Point of the Cutlass), sparrowspearl (Cursed) your age: 36 your place/state/country of residence: Western Canada, wishing I lived in Coastal New England (Massachusetts) your job: the only jobs I've had is in retail or in the food industry (kind of tired of both)  your hobbies: roleplaying (mostly LOTR, but have tried a POTC fan fiction story on Cursed), reading (mostly Tolkien or tales of the sea), walking, animals (especially cats, but why they don't like the water is beyond me)  where/how you heard about Parley: Someone posted a link on another forum (I think it was Pirate, Savvy? but that one is kind of dead in the water) favorite POTC character: it fluctuates between Capt. Jack and Barbossa (right now I'm more into Jack)  Other stuff: I'm a 36 (going on 37)-year-old tomboy that loves anything (or anyone) to do with the sea and has an overactive imagination. I'm also an only child (spoiled rotten) and am the only female member of my family who still has her natural hair color (naturally curly mid-back length strawberry blonde). I think that will do for an intro, don't you?

Welcome Mistress of the Sea! I'm an old member of KTTC, but I don't think anyone remembers me from there anymore..maybe (I was Twilight Rogue a long time ago). I'm Alia, and I'm one of the modmins here. I can say, that New England is really nice, especially the Bay State (are you a former resident or native, perhaps?), even if it isn't quite the coastal part. Though the coastal part is nice, too. Pretty, even, if lacking in enough trees and hills. And always a pleasure to meet a fellow RPer. If you have any questions, or anything feel free to ask. Anything we can do to help. *nods* |

Hello, Lisa! It's nice to meet a fellow POTC and Jack fan (it's always been Jack for me ). I was on KTTC forever ago, but haven't been there in a long while. And I'm also a long-haired strawberry blonde cat person. Yay for kitties and redheads! What part of Western Canada are you from? I've traveled around BC and Alberta, and I think it's some of the most beautiful country on earth. I'm from California, so green, rainy places are rather exotic and enticing to me (rather like the Caribbean, come to think of it ).Welcome to Parley! I live in BC right now (nothing against it, just time for a change, savvy? Even a good friend of mine moved to Alberta a couple of years ago to be closer to her daughter and grandchild. I think she was getting pretty tired of it too). Not a native of Massachusetts but my grandparents once visited the state (probably before my time), so I may have (or had) relatives there, but then again, they may have just been visiting the area (one of these days, I'll have to find out, since we all may have connections to New England if we research our family history back far enough).

I might only be 14 but I've seen every single Pirates movie so far(waiting for the third!)I think Jack Sparrow is the coolest character that ever lived!
