(Yay, a shiny new introductions thread!) Hi! Welcome to Parley. Since when you get here you probably don't know everybody, here's a chance to at least let everybody know you. If you feel like it, you can also post a profile here, and check out other people's profiles. Some things you could post here, if you want to: - your name (first name only!) - other usernames under which people may know you - your age - your place/state/country of residence - your job - your hobbies - where/how you heard about Parley - favourite POTC character And everything else you can think of, of course. But be careful with posting personal information; you never know who's reading this! As for me, I'm your friendly neighbourhood admin; Dutch by name, Dutch by nationality; a 25 year old woman. your name: Jade other usernames under which people may know you: Jadie or JD your age: 25 your place/state/country of residence: Texas for the last 2 years or so, and for another 2 days, then I'm moving to Missouri. your job: Housewife/stay at home mom your hobbies: Roleplaying mostly where/how you heard about Parley: Google searches lead me to Aztec Gold, AG lead me here. favourite POTC character: Ragetti  Other stuff: I've been participating in online forum/communities/roleplay type places for about 6 years now, and being a newbie never gets easier. I'm rather shy and actually watched this place for a couple days before I decided to join. I thought about joining AG but I've never done a PotC rp before, and I fear I wouldn't be very good at it. I'm really not that great at rping in general, as some how most of my characters end up with Mary Sue traits, whether I want them to or not. I mostly participate in original SciFi/Fantasy type rpgs, though I am know to jump into the occasional fandom based rp, usually Final Fantasy. Maybe someday I'll feel confident enough in my rp abilities to try my had at a pirates rp. But for now I think a general discussion forum is the best place for me.  So yes, thats it.. I think. >.> |
