What are you opinions on the book? Six was great! I cried...They're all awesome, JK Rowling is brilliant

Who do you think is the mysterious R.A.B? Regulus, naturally -- who else do we know with both R and B as initials? Regulus Black...and besides, there was that strange unopenable locket at 12 Grimmauld Place...

Favorite character? Do you have to ask?...:nocomment:

How do you think it will end? Harry will kill Voldemort but not before Voldemort takes out either Ron or Hermione (yes, I'm a traitor of sorts)

WHY are they just so good? Because they are...I dunno

Is Snape really evil? Of course

Did Dumbledore TRULY die? Don't see how he isn't...

Can you hardly wait for the final book?!? :jawdrop:

These books are AWESOME!!

Peace
Remus

I actually think Snape is not evil -- I think he is playing the good role of double agent, and that he will redeem himself in the end. Mark my words. :)

If you are interested in updates on HP 7, you should definitely check out this article. It makes me a little worried, especially because somewhere else I read that at least one of the two could be main characters! Anyway, interesting development.

I heard that, as well. Saying she sympathizes with th mentality of those who kill off their book characters to prevent additional writing about them seems a bit misleading. She also said "...two die that I didn't intend to die," which to me, means she made that choice mush later -- supposedly, she's had in mind all along all th emost essential parts of the book, so this seems like not necessarily a major change to her overall plan.

It also doens't mean that there won't be more than two, if gher original plans called for the death of others ibesides the ones she is now hinting at.

She's also said all along that basically, it can't end with both Harry and Voldemort alive -- that wouldn't resolve matters. The real question to me is which one will die, if not both of them.

Haha. I'd love it if both Harry and Voldemort died. :skull: Of course, I'm a bit weird, so others probably wouldn't get a kick out of it like I would. Ah, well. I'd like it, anyway.

Actually I can see both Harry and Voldermort dying... I said so long ago to my HP friends and I swear they almost fainted. It's the kind of thing that Jo would do, just to shock everyone!
Elizabeth's Book
Or either Ron or Hermione will be killed and Harry goes postal and bye bye Voldermort.

But seriously, I can see Harry being a what-do-you-call it.. (those things he has to destroy?) and he has to die in order to kill Voldermort...

I'm also in denial that *
Spoiler: click to toggle
*... *Smeagol like* Nope, not listening!

[[i'm big into HP theory on mugglenet.com, so if you wonder where my opinions come from...go to that site. you'll see.]]

What are you opinions on the book? Fantastic. But I think she didn't explain horocruxes enough.
Who do you think is the mysterious R.A.B? Sirius' Brother.
Favorite character? Harry. but hermione/ron are hilarious.
How do you think it will end? Voldemort will face harry and die after a really long battle. [[der!]]
WHY are they just so good? it's magic, for god's sake.
Is Snape really evil? he's a spy for dumbledore.
Did Dumbledore TRULY die? you have to put emotion into an unforgivable curse. you have to want to cause major pain. from the context, snape didn't put much into it...i think dumbledore is still alive, but faked his death to bring Voldemort out of the shadows. [[and in the tomb, i think it's the blonde death eater that was killed that same night.]]
Can you hardly wait for the final book?!? I'll be at the bookstore, dressed up and waiting at midnight to be one of the first to get it! XD

a horocrux is what you're talking about. here are the ones that we know of:

1) The diary, which harry distroyed.
2) The ring, which Dumbledore distroyed.
3) The Locket.
4) Voldemort's snake.

the one's that are pretty on the rocks:

5) Helga Hufflepuff's china cup.
6) An item from ravenclaw or Gryffindor. [[the gryffindor item is highly doubted, because the sorting hat and sword are locked in Dumbledore's office. and only a true gryffindor can pull a sword out of the hat.]]

I'm not sure how I feel about Harry being a Horcrux. I mean, yeah, he's got the scar and all that, but think about it. In order to defeat Voldemort, Harry has to destroy all the Horcruxes. That would mean he'd have to kill himself in order to destroy Voldemort. Yeah, that's not going to work. Plus, if Voldemort killed Harry, then he would be destroying a piece of himself, therefore making it easier for someone else to kill him. And maybe Voldemort doesn't know about Harry being a Horcrux, but still, I don't see Harry killing himself.

My theory on the last Horcrux is that it's a Ravenclaw item. As ilisa pointed out, they already have the sword of Gryffindor. Once this is all over and Harry has destroyed all of the Horcruxes, Hogwarts can have a little collection of items owned by their founders! :D

I dont think Harry is a horcrux, and I dont think he'll die in the last book.
It would be to disturbing to all the little kids who read the series!

I think he will be severly wounded and close to death though.

it's too dangerous for Voldemort to have ANOTHER living horocrux-he already has Nagini [[the snake.]] as dumbledore said, it's extremely tricky and risky.

Harry would be an extremely wise choice, however. this is my own opinion, but if famous boy Harry was killed due to his horocrux, thousands of people would be aware and may come to a funeral. big shot for voldemort to become known again.

but i doubt that Rowling would do this to us.

I just watched the extra stuff on the GOF dvd for the first time last night, and I really enjoyed them. The part with Ralph Fiennes talking about being Lord Voldemort was awesome. And the underwater stuff? Wow! That was hard work. I think they had a lot of fun making the movie. Especially the guy who played Cedric (Robert something or other)! I think he had a blast! It's too bad he died and isn't going to be in anymore movies.

um wait a second ilisa we find out that the locket isn't a real Horcrux because R.A.B said he(or she) had taken the real one(in my opinion i really don't think he did i think its in a different place but ya) It says so in the Note left to Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore. :D ya just thought i would share that.

remember the locket in the one case/cabinet?

I forget exactly where it is in the book, but he sees a locket that looks just like the one voldemort used for the horocrux.

I think that's the one.
