I love Dr Carson Beckett and Dr Rodney McKay. They are hilarious. Especially in the episode "Duet." I have not laughed so hard from an episode of a Sci-Fi show since Enterprise's "Unexpected," where the male chief engineer Charles 'Trip' Tucker III got himself pregnant-- unintentionally. I would have liked to see some more of a fall-out from that episode's events than what we were treated-- we saw some in "Critical Mass," but I think I would have liked to see a bit more of McKay's and Beckett's reactions to their humorous situation. Well, not for them exactly, but for everyone else. I wonder if anyone in Atlantis got some of that on footage. Blackmail time... ![]() And, of course, SGA would not be complete without everyone's favorite recurring Czech scientist Dr Radek Zelenka. Okay, so well, he's my favorite recurring character. The poor guy always seems to be the bearer of bad news. |

Gotta love Zelenka! What was the ep that he had to spend all that time on the mainland and cameback looking like he'd been attacked by some paintball monster? I can't remember which one it was... My fav character out of them all is Teyla. She's just so graceful and intelligent and all that! lol Plus she can whoop Shep's ass like nothing else. I also Love John/Joe......... *drool* I don't, however, like some of the writers. Mostly I find myself not liking all of Martin Gero's eps.... Esp 'Allies'! How stu[id can they be? How is it that only Teyla was not ok with the plan? I do however LOVE Peter DeLuise... his writing, his directing and just his general self. He's soooo funny! Esp in 'It's not easy being green' That thing had me pissing myself. It STILL makes me laugh... in fact I'm going to go and watch it again right now!

Helloooooo Major/Lt Col John Sheppard
Thanks for posting, Rogue. One question: Is this a new show? I'm sorry, I don't watch much TV nowadays, so I have no idea what's going on anymore. Anyone know where I can get to see it in America?

LOL I see you've found the love that is Shep. (personally I prefer Joe, but they are almost one and the same ;)) Stargate Atlantis is currently filming it's third season and airs on the Sci-Fi network in America. I believe they are showing repeats of the second season of a friday night and the first season is out on DVD. If you have any other questions about please feel free to ask! |

Yep, I do that all the time, see a gorgeous guy and BAM!, everything else becomes quite insignificant . Shep, right? Mmm...he's quite goodlooking. Is he, in the group photo, the guy on the far right? Oof, how come men can look soooo freakin' gorgeous?! How my sentences they don't make any sense come I have to rewrite cause?! ...Waaaait...what?! (I'm leaving that one in! )Lol, ignore that "question", I'm just tired again. So, they're busy filming season three? Man, am I out of the loop .

I was (and still am) a major Sheppard fangirl, but over this past season, I've fast become a McKay fangirl (to the point where he's my favorite character on the show now). "Duet" is hands-down my favorite episode of the series thus far. I've also become a McKay/Beckett shipper... I just couldn't help it! I read something on Gateworld the other day that says they're wanting to look more into characterizations as opposed to action this next season, so I can't wait to see what new stuff we learn about the characters. I was so shocked by the end of the season finale; I just wanted to give McKay a huge bear hug after seeing that shocked look on his face. I hope Michael shows up again this next season; Connor Trinneer is SO cool (Trip was my favorite character on Enterprise), and Michael is such an intriguing character. Joy |

Connor has just (relatively) finished shooting his part for season 3 I hear, he's at least in 'No Man's Land'. Next season is shaping up to be very character based with at least one ep on character backgrounds, most specifically John's background, poss about his time in the special ops called 'Common Gorund' and 'Sateda' a very interesting Ronon based up which at this time is billed as episodes 7 and 3. 'Irresistable' should prove to be season 3's 'Duet' in terms of humor if it pulls off. I'm VERY much looking forward to Carl's early season 2 part arc 'Progeny' and 'Real World'. It should be interesting to meet the creators of the virus (and the new 'big bads') as well as she how Teyla's going to fit into Elizabeth's imagination! It should be a great ep for Torri. (plus RDA is in it so how can it be bad?!) 'McKay and Mrs. Miller' is definately going to be one for the fans into the fandom. Practically for the first act and half it's just McKay and his sister on Earth which should prove to be interesting. This ep is lining up as episode 6 I do have a soft spot for Beckett and Rodney as well. I love them all dearly but I love both Teyla and Shep the most. I love listening to Paul on the commentaries on season 1, it's so funny to hear him speak without the accent! I love Duet also this season, but I like The Long Goodbye as well. I was bitterly disappointed with Epihany seeing as Joe built it up so much, only to discover it turned out unlike what he had predicted! Suluna, more pics of John aka Shep aka Joe Flanigan aka my husband. (click on the thumbnail for MUCH bigger versions) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() more to come soon if you so wish! |

I don't know if I liked Michael just because it was Connor Trinneer, or if because I genuinely felt bad for the character. When Connor plays a part, he just can't go wrong, can he? I was disappointed that it wasn't him below the make-up for the season finale, but I'm glad that he's reprising the role now.
Me too! I went, "what the heck happened to his... oh...." moment as I listened to him speak. I've gotten so used to him on SGA with the accent that it almost sounds wrong to hear him speak without it. Actually the same with David Nykl who plays Zelenka-- it was such a shock to hear him as well without his accent. Gah, now I can't wait for the season opener.

I know what you mean! I want to find out * if the wraith actually make it to Earth! We know they make it to the Milky Way galaxy but not if they get all the way to Earth yet! * Joseph's blog used to make me laugh a lot: "Like last year, Martin Gero will be kicking things off by scripting the premiere that picks up where 'Allies' left off. For those of you who have access to a time time travel and have seen 'Allies,' I'm sure you're asking yourself "How are they going to top that one?" Well, wait until July and prepare to be amazed. Alternately, you can travel forward in time and watch the episode. If you do, please record a transcript and then send it to Martin as it would save him a heck of a lot of time in the scripting process." And there's also the introduction of a new character in 'No Man's Land' too! Although I'm not sure how long they'll be there, at least the first ten though! |

I've heard we'll get to see some great Zelenka stuff, too. I can't wait! He's so endearing. I just can't wait for the new season! My only problem is that we had to downgrade our cable TV to basic limited, which only has the networks and, like, TV Guide Channel..... I'll have to find, er, other ways to get my Stargate fix. Joy |
