unused account - do not PM Posts: 0 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: February 26, 2006	*General User Info* *Usernames* Usernames that contain foul language or are otherwise controversial will be asked to choose another name, or they will be deleted. Usernames may not be longer than 23 characters. *Unused Accounts* Accounts may be deleted if, one month after they are started, they have not been used for posting. (Please make at least one counting post, for example in the Introductions thread, as we won't be able to see if you've made posts in Liar's Dice.) *Multiple Accounts* Members are only allowed to have multiple accounts if an admin has given permission. Multiple accounts started without permission will be deleted without warning when found out, and the member's original account may be deleted or put on a certain kind of punishment, such as restriction of posting, removing of sig privileges, or both. *Posting Rules & Guidelines* Be polite and respectful towards other members. The language used on this board is English. Do not use other languages unless you're quoting, or something like that - and when you have to use another language, please provide a translation. No spamming. No double-posting. Before starting a thread, please check that there's not already a thread on that subject. Browse the appropriate forum and/or use the 'Search' feature for this. Make thread titles descriptive. Topics like "Question..." will not get as much attention as something like "What was Jack's quote again?" Spoilers may only be posted in the sequel forums. When posting in those forums, please make sure that the thread titles don't contain any spoilers, as people who want to avoid spoilers may see the thread titles in 'View New Posts' and on the main page. The content of this board should be PG13. No foul language, etc. If you want to post material (such as fanfic) that is possibly or certainly not PG13, be sure to place a warning in the thread title or thread description. Please do not put large pictures in your posts, but link to them instead. This prevents pages from getting deformed and from being slow to load. This board is for discussing the POTC movies, and also for a bit of OT talk. However, it is not a place to discuss politics, religion, or other 'touchy' subjects. It is also not a place to advertise products (though links to POTC merchandise are allowed). Please refrain from promoting, or discussing in a positive sense, illegal actions such as downloading music and movies. It can get both you and this board in trouble. No hotlinking. Hotlinking is linking to images that are located on anyone's website but your own, and constitutes stealing that person's bandwidth - something they pay for. Please upload images to your Photobucket (or other image hosting), and link there. RPGs are allowed, but, out of respect to our affiliate, please copy-and-paste the following into the first post of every RPG-ish thread you start: Code: `[hr]Enjoying POTC RPG? Repeated breaking of the rules may result in the deletion, without warning, of your account. These guidelines may be adapted at any time. When they are adapted, an announcement will be posted. *Cbox Rules* These are basically the same as the posting rules. To summarise: No bashing. No spamming. Try to avoid posting several times in a row. No advertising. No spoilers, please! Private conversations are what PMs are for. No impersonating other members by signing up under their name. The modmins can see the IPs from which the Cbox is being used, and severe punishment will follow. If someone is using your unique name, notify a modmin. *Signature and Avatar Guidelines* Your avatar may not be bigger than 100 pixels square, and the file may not be bigger than 50 KB. (InvisionFree only allows uploaded avatars up to 25 KB, so if you want bigger avvies than that, you'll have to link to them.) Signatures may contain a banner that is no more than 400 pixels wide and 200 pixels high, the file being no bigger than 100 KB. In addition to this banner, the signature may contain six lines of text or space. If you choose not to have a banner in your sig, you may have five more lines of text or space (making a max. total of eleven lines). The text in your signature may be no bigger than size 4. You may not link to message boards in your sig (unless they be Parley affiliates). Smilies and animation in your sig are allowed, but not in excess. [size=1]POTC and its characters belong to Disney. POTC images used on this message board are copyright Disney. We are in no way connected to Disney - though we love them for giving us POTC. The POTC character smilies on Parley are borrowed without permission from this site. The font generally used for 'Parley' in the header is Treasuremap Deadhand. If you see any work of yours used here without it being given proper credit, please let me know at parleyadmin@gmail.com, and we'll either give credit or remove your work from the site, as you wish.[/size]
